The Falcons welcome in a six-player draft class in 2023, and the crop of rookies have chosen their jersey numbers. Let’s take a look at a few future Ring of Honor members:

Obviously, you’ve probably seen by now that Bijan Robinson will don the iconic #7 in Atlanta.Â
Robinson will be the 9th player in franchise history to rock the number. It began back in 1966 with Wade Traynham, then was passed to a number of others before the most recognizable #7 in Falcons history, Michael Vick, was drafted in 2001.
Younghoe Koo gave it up and will assume #6, but it hasn’t been revealed whether this was a gesture or Robinson paid.
Most people won’t give Matthew Bergeron the time of day because he’s an offensive lineman, but not here at SportsTalkATL. We love the big uglies up front, and #65 fits his demeanor.
Zach Harrison, along with every other defensive lineman, looks great in #96. Clark Phillips III could be a future starter at nickel and has the number to do it; #34 will always be a personal favorite of mine.
I’ve talked a lot about some other Falcons donning new numbers this season — new players are italicized, while current players with new numbers are just bold.
