In 2019, SunTrust Bank and BB&T merged to create a single entity, Truist Bank. Braves fans have been awaiting a name change to SunTrust Park, which ended up only being the name of the park for three seasons.
Today, the Braves will announce the new name of the park, according to David O’Brien of The Athletic:
The Braves and Truist will announce the new name for SunTrust Park on Tuesday, for those wondering if that was happen before the season. It is.

We know that Truist will likely be in the name. Will it become Truist Field? Truist Park? Who knows. I wouldn’t mind a variation of O’Brien’s recommendation:
Truist (formerly SunTrust) paid big $ to have its brand splashed on the park and mentioned on broadcasts, etc., so I realize it’s unrealistic to expect them to exclude that rather clunky name. (Seriously, who came up with “Truist”?) So how ‘bout:
Hank Aaron Field at Truist Park

Fans seem to not like the name all that much, but at the end of the day, the ballpark was named after a bank to start, and it will be named after a bank tomorrow. A year from now, nobody will care.
One thing you can look out for is the potential of a splash of purple around the park, as that seems to be the color scheme of Truist’s branding.
