Braves fans have a lot to be discouraged about because of what’s transpired since Saturday, but at least they are not the Dodgers, who were swept by the Diamondbacks late last night. Atlanta may be trailing 2-1 to their division rival for the second consecutive season, but they are one late-inning Austin Riley home run from sleeping in their own bed. The Braves still have time to salvage their season with their ace on the mound for Game 4. Unfortunately, the task won’t be any easier.
Because of the Dodgers’ loss, the Braves will be the only team playing on Thursday, which means the time of the game has been pushed back from 6:07 PM to 8:07 PM.
Phillies-Braves Game 4 will be at 8:07 p.m. tomorrow.

Citizens Bank Ballpark is going to be an insane asylum, featuring a loud, and mostly drunk, Philadelphia crowd, and they will be extra fired up to welcome Spencer Strider back in an elimination game. It will be as crazy of a baseball atmosphere as you’ll ever see, but there’s one man who can shut them up, and I imagine he’s been dreaming of this day since Game 3 of last year’s NLDS.
