The Braves spring training schedule is here, and it is a doozy.
As we all know by now, COVID-19 changes things. There will be restrictions this go around, but hey, at least we get something, right?
The Braves will play 29 games in a span of 31 days starting Sunday 2/28/2021.
Updated #Braves Spring Training Schedule:
Atlanta will play only the Orioles, Pirates, Rays, Red Sox, and Twins due to travel restrictions and safety considerations. A total of 29 exhibitions in 31 days. No split-squad games this year.

There are some added twists as well. This year’s spring training will not feature any split-squad games, meaning there will not be as much playing time for players that are fighting for a position.
Also, due to travel restrictions, the Braves will only play the Twins, Red Sox, Rays, Orioles, and Pirates. It’s not exactly ideal, but it is better than nothing. Here is to hoping the Braves can figure out the position battles, and who should make the opening day roster, in this limited action.
