This morning on MLB Network, Braves skipper Brian Snitker provided an encouraging update on Spencer Strider as Spring Training kicks off in North Port, Florida.
“The ball is coming out really good,” Snit said.

Both of the Braves top players, Spencer Strider and Ronald Acuna Jr., will begin the season on the injured list, but both are pushing to be activated as soon as possible.
Strider has been completing bullpen sessions up to this point, and reports indicate that he might even throw in live action before the end of the Spring Training.
As things currently sit, the Braves ace is expected to join Atlanta’s rotation by either the end of April or the beginning of May, barring any setbacks. North Port will be buzzing to see both of Atlanta’s stars on the field in any capacity, though.
