Earlier this week, the Braves made an addition to their farm system, signing Jordan Cowan.
#Braves have signed INF Jordan Cowan to a minor league contract.

Cowan isn’t much more than some organizational middle infield depth, which the Braves are lacking. He doesn’t have much pop in his bat, recording just six homers over his last 200+ games, but he can hit for average and play all over the diamond. Last season, Cowan spent his time in AA, hitting .258 and recording a .733 OPS. That’s not too shabby, so we’ll see if the Braves give him the opportunity to prove himself at AAA next season.
