The Braves have agreed to terms with International Free Agent Francisco Romero

The Braves have been under International signing penalties for a while, but along with Ambioris Tavarez, they have made a few smaller transactions until they are completely free of MLB restrictions in 2022. There isn’t a scouting report that I’ve seen out on Romero, but like with any other international prospect, he’s certainly worth keeping an eye on. MLB.com has Romero listed at 6’2 and 170 pounds, but his age is not listed. We’ll keep you posted as more information becomes available.
