The Braves have come to an agreement with the 24th pick in the 2021 MLB Draft Ryan Cusick
1st-rder Ryan Cusick signs w/@Braves for $2.7 million (pick 24 value = $2,831,300). Wake Forest RHP, holds velo on high-spin mid-90s fastball that peaks at 102 mph, much improved power curveball, sinking changeup too. @MLBDraft

The Braves have also signed the following players; scouting reports are linked to their names:
Spencer Schwellenbach, Nebraska (2nd Round)
Dylan Dodd, Southeast Missouri State (3rd Round)
Cal Conley, Texas Tech (4th Round)
Luke Waddell, Georgia Tech (5th Round)
Justyn-Henry Malloy, Georgia Tech (6th Round)
A.J. Smith-Shawver, Texas High School (7th Round)
Tyler Collins, Texas High School (8th Round)
Andrew Hoffman, Illinois (12th Round)
Christian Robinson, Stanford (15th Round)
Tyler Tolve, Kennesaw State (17th Round)
The Braves signed players like Dodd, Conley, and Waddell to slightly underslot deals to help them afford talented high schoolers Smith-Shawver and Collins. It looks like Atlanta is hoping to wrap up their draft class quickly and get to coaching these guys.
