Just like last week, the Braves announced their roster for the Divisional Series just hours before Game 1, and it looks like this:

— Atlanta Braves (@Braves) October 6, 2020
Starters
- Max Fried
- Ian Anderson
- Kyle Wright
- Bryse Wilson
- Huascar Ynoa
Max Fried and Ian Anderson will undoubtedly start Games 1 and 2, and Kyle Wright seems to be penciled in for Game 3. Game 4 will be either Bryse Wilson, Huascar Ynoa, or the Braves could turn completely to their bullpen. I think it will be determined by what happens in Games 1-3. If Atlanta is up in the series, we could see Bryse Wilson, but if their backs are against the wall, Snitker could rely strictly on his elite bullpen.
Relievers
- Grant Dayton
- Shane Greene
- Chris Martin
- Tyle Matzek
- A.J. Minter
- Darren O’Day
- Will Smith
- Josh Tomlin
- Jacob Webb
- Mark Melancon
No additions to this group. Once again, Luke Jackson is not apart of the roster, which isn’t surprising given his struggles this season.
Catchers
- Travis d’Arnaud
- Tyler Flowers
To make room for Bryse Wilson or Huascar Ynoa, the Braves opted to have two catchers on the roster for this series. They can do that because there is now a DH in the National League, so the need for pinch-hitters has gone way down.
Infielders
- Freddie Freeman
- Charlie Culberson
- Pablo Sandoval
- Austin Riley
- Dansby Swanson
- Ozzie Albies
To make room for more pitching, the Braves left off Johan Camargo in favor of Charlie Culberson and Pablo Sandoval. Once again, Adeiny Hechavarria is not on the roster, as the Braves opted to go with two bench guys that have a knack for coming up with clutch hits.
Outfielders
- Adam Duvall
- Ronald Acuña Jr.
- Marcell Ozuna
- Cristian Pache
- Nick Markakis
Same group as last time. I’m thrilled to see Cristian Pache back on the roster in place of Ender Inciarte, whose time on the Braves could be finished.

The Braves also released their lineup for Game 1, which begins today at 2:08 ET.
