After nearly completing a ninth-inning comeback yesterday afternoon, the Braves are back in action today as they attempt to even the series at one game apiece in the NLDS. The Phillies had Max Fried‘s number in Game 1, and they’ll have their ace on the bump in Game 2 as they aim to take a commanding lead over the defending World Series champions. For the Braves, they will send 21-game winner Kyle Wright to the mound. Let’s take a look at how the rest of their team will line up.
Braves lineup for Game 2 of the NLDS vs. Philly:
RF Acuña Jr.
SS Swanson
1B Olson
3B Riley
C d’Arnaud
CF Harris II
2B Arcia
DH Ozuna
LF RosarioRHP Kyle Wright

With a righty on the mound, Brian Snitker predictably mixed several things up. For starters, Eddie Rosario and Marcell Ozuna have replaced Robbie Grossman and William Contreras in the lineup. The Braves also bumped Michael Harris II up to the sixth spot, and switched Matt Olson and Austin Riley. Travis d’Arnaud moved to fifth as well.
In my mind, this is the most potent lineup the Braves can put together with Ozzie Albies out. The only thing that could possibly make it better is if William Contreras took Ozuna’s spot as the DH, but Ozuna ended the season hot, so I don’t mind this move by Brian Snitker. Regardless, the Braves will have their hands full with Wheeler, who is 12-7 with a 2.82 ERA on the season.
