According to Jon Heyman, the Braves are among the teams who have checked in on the third baseman Justin Turner.
Braves are among teams to check in on Justin Turner. No surprise, he has no shortage of suitors. Most still see Dodgers as heavy favorite for the longtime Dodger.

Even if the report suggests the Dodgers are favorites, don’t count Alex Anthopoulos out of anything. He is a magician of a general manager and is always calculated in his decision-making. If anything, Anthopoulos is driving the price upon his National League competitor, but he would still make a nice addition at a position of need.
Turner could be exactly what the Braves offense needs. His defense has been declining in recent years, probably due to age, but in 2020 he looked better. However, the Braves are interested in him for his offense.
Last year, in 42 games, Turner hit for a .307 BA, .460 SLG, and .860 OPS — nothing to scoff about. He shouldn’t break the bank, but Anthopoulos could just be throwing his hat at everyone this offseason to drive the price up for other teams.
