A stud in Japan’s Professional League is about to be posted in the MLB and there’s some exciting news for Braves fans.
27 year old corner outfielder, Seiya Suzuki has been crushing baseballs in Japan for 9 seasons, carrying a .309/.402/.542 career slash line, and he’s declared that he’s coming to the bigs.

However, that’s not the best news of the day as, for the first time since Kenshin Kawakami, the Braves are considered top suitors from some out of the NPB.
With Seiya Suzuki being posted, Japanese reporter Nachi Tomonari has reported that 7 teams are interested:
Mets
Rangers
Phillies
Braves
Pirates
Mariners
RockiesThe report also states that the Braves and the Rangers are the most serious suitors. pic.twitter.com/lY0ZR1ygJd

If Braves re-sign Freddie Freeman, adding Suzuki to go along with Ronald Acuna Jr. and, hopefully, Adam Duvall, would be a wrecking crew of a lineup. What’s more? Suzuki’s most comparable MLB hitter according to NPB sources? Ronald Acuna Jr. HOLY SMOKES, folks. Lock in, Braves fans. This could be a helluva offseason.
Seiya Suzuki is the real deal. Not sure if the Dodgers will have any interest, but he’s only 27 years old and has drawn comparisons to Ronald Acuña Jr. https://t.co/KJzvFCTUXL
