Early this morning, David O’Brien of The Athletic reported that Ozuna may not care if the DH is in play for the National League.
Marcell Ozuna, a Gold Glove winner in 2017, has told teammates and friends that he still sees himself as an outfielder and not a DH @DOBrienATL @TheAthleticMLB https://t.co/N7JKuL0mQt

Most Braves fans have been saying they want to wait and see if the NL will have the DH before re-signing Ozuna, but Marcell still thinks he can play left field. Chase has covered the drawbacks and benefits of re-signing Marcell without the DH in the NL. Atlanta is in a really tough situation; Ozuna’s bat is so elite and there aren’t many high-quality free agent outfielders available, but he’s going to be very expensive, and his defense is a substantial liability — even if he doesn’t think so.Â
