After reports came out that Marcell Ozuna dislocated two fingers sliding into third base last night, it appears the Braves are getting a rough timetable for his return.
Marcell Ozuna will be out for at least six weeks, as you may have seen he already posted on his Instagram. Snitker will provide more information when he talks to us at 4:30 p.m. ET.

Ozuna wasn’t having his best season, but he had been better of late. Over his past seven games, Ozuna posted six hits, four runs batted in, two walks, and a home run while only striking out three times. As much as it stings to lose a guy like Marcell for almost two months, the fact that the Braves lack the depth to replace him hurts even more.
While he wasn’t playing well to start the season, he still protects Freddie Freeman in the lineup. With Travis d’Arnaud out with a finger injury as well, the Braves are running out of options. Red-hot Austin Riley is the obvious candidate to replace Ozuna, and he’s slotted into the cleanup role tonight behind Freeman. As far as fielders go, we could see a mix of Guillermo Heredia, Ender Inciarte, and possibly even Cristian Pache again if another injury strikes.
