Atlanta keeps getting more good news on the injury front, as it seems Ozzie Albies is nearing a return.
Ozzie Albies took batting practice from both sides of the plate, felt good. They'll continue to evaluate the wrist but this is another positive sign toward his return. #Braves

Just last week, David O’Brien of The Athletic reported Ozzie was only taking soft toss from one side of the plate. Atlanta has sorely missed Albies at 2nd base, resorting to platooning the struggling Johan Camargo and Adeiny Hechavarria. The 2019 NL Silver Slugger has been out for almost all of August. Wrist injuries are no joke, and they have to be extra difficult on a switch hitter. With Ozzie Albies coming back, the first place Braves have much more of a fighting chance with their rotation in shambles limping into the trade deadline.
