The Braves somehow pulled out a victory in Game 2 of the NLDS, salvaging their season behind a two-run shot with two outs in the eighth from Austin Riley and then an unbelievable defensive play by Michael Harris II, which resulted in a double-play and ended the game.
You’d think watching this a million times last night was enough, nope. I can’t stop pic.twitter.com/SKerhdQG0Y

Bryce Harper didn’t have time to hesitate and made a judgment call, hoping the ball would get down so that he could score the game-tying run for the Phillies in the ninth. However, Michael Harris II had other ideas, robbing Nick Castellanos of a double and getting the ball in quick enough to double off Harper.
I don’t think anybody in the Phillies clubhouse is blaming Harper for being aggressive, but reportedly, Orlando Arcia of the Braves found it quite comical after the game.

Now, the last person I would be attempting to piss off if I were in the Braves clubhouse is Bryce Harper. The guy has proven time and time again that he’s built for the postseason stage.
With that being said, we are well past the point of bulletin board material. If any of these players on either team need extra motivation for a playoff series between division rivals, then they might as well not even get off the plane in Philadelphia. These are two ultra-talented clubs that know each other well and share the same goal. What anybody said after the game isn’t going to change the outcome. However, it would be nice for all parties involved if these moments in the locker room after an emotional game were not brought into the public light.
