Braves fans didn’t get long to celebrate the doubleheader sweep, as Brian Snitker revealed Mike Soroka won’t be making the mid-April return that was previously reported.
Snitker said there's some concern for Soroka just because he's worked so hard to get back. But he said there's no structural damage, told Soroka sometimes these things happen for a reason.

Luckily, the injury wasn’t to his Achilles, and it doesn’t seem to be too serious. I have said from the beginning it is better to err on the side of caution with Soroka, and with Ynoa’s fantastic performance today, that is even easier to do. It looks like it will be around May before Soroka starts tossing again, which means he could get to throw some live baseball with the Stripers, whose season begins on May 4th. Get well soon, Mike.
