Mike Soroka had a rough patch in AAA after a promising start. He’s now being shut down with an elbow injury. Thankfully, there doesn’t appear to be any structural damage:

Mike Soroka pitching in 2022 at all was a long shot, especially in Atlanta. There’s no reason to risk anything further, especially with how poorly he had been performing. This isn’t a knock on him; he is coming back from one of the toughest injuries someone can suffer… twice. There’s probably some fatigue there with Soroka’s shoulder bothering him during his rehab. Hopefully, he can start 2023 fresh in Gwinnett and get the results we all know he can.
We’ll update you if anything else happens with Soroka.
