Mike Soroka has thrown in a few simulated games so far this spring, but come tomorrow, Braves fans will finally have an opportunity to see him in live action. Brian Snitker told the media today that the plan is to send Soroka out there for an inning or two tomorrow against the Red Sox.

This suggests Soroka very well could be ready to return to the Braves in April, as long as he doesn’t suffer any setbacks. The unfortunate part is that the minor league season is scheduled to start a month late because of COVID-19. That means this will be the only action we see from Soroka until he makes a return to the mound for Atlanta. The rest of his work will have to take place at the alternate training site.
Still, this is fantastic news for Soroka and the Braves. We will keep you up to date with all of the news regarding his progress, and hopefully, it won’t be long before he returns to the rotation.
