After the Braves reclaimed a share of first place in the NL East, some more good news rolls in regarding Mike Soroka.
Soroka has been cleared to begin his preparations for what will essentially be his Spring Training https://t.co/QNm82glP1E

Soroka actually pitched in Spring Training coming off a torn Achilles, which was an incredible individual effort on his part. Sadly, he suffered some shoulder inflammation going into the season and was shut down until today. Soroka will begin throwing and getting ready to re-join the Braves. Minor League Baseball begins next week, so I’d be willing to bet Mike gets several rehab starts before coming back up. The Braves need Soroka back badly, even coming off of two straight shutouts, they rank 22nd in the majors in team ERA.
