According to David O’Brien of The Athletic, Mike Soroka and Chris Martin — who are both on the IL with shoulder soreness — are rehabbing but haven’t begun throwing and have no timetable for return.

If there is a bright side to this, at least Mike Soroka’s recent shoulder issue gives his Achilles more time to completely heal. Still, any type of arm injury for a pitcher is dangerous. The Braves aren’t going to take any risks with him, and it could be a few weeks before he resumes throwing.
Martin was injured in the opening series against the Phillies, leaving the game during the eighth inning. The Braves desperately need him back, but it looks like his return is still a while a way. Alex Anthopolous has to think about reaching out to a reliever or two because Atlanta’s bullpen, even when Martin returns, needs bolstering.
