The Braves lost a lot of minor league talent this offseason, however, they still have one of the crown jewels of their system in outfielder Michael Harris. He showed what makes him so valuable yesterday in Mississippi:
Michael Harris really filled up the box score.
The @Braves' No. 1 prospect reached base four times, racked up three singles, drove in three runs and stole a base in the @mbraves' first win of the season: https://t.co/KBP6OmFAL5 pic.twitter.com/H6eh2wPy9u

Harris’ raw tools are undeniable, and he’s a candidate to move up to Gwinnett sooner rather than later. If his power comes around, he’s truly going to be one of the best five tool prospects in all of baseball. In 2019 as a 19-year-old, Harris caught eyes with his .917 OPS in Rookie Ball. He showed a small amount of regression in 2021, but he had a ton of flashes that make him so special. Over the first three games, Harris is up to an .814 OPS. He’s THE guy to watch down on the farm.
