I hope nobody is tired of hearing about Michael Harris, because the hype train is only getting started. He hasn’t missed a beat in AA Mississippi, hitting to the tune of a .366 average with a .932 OPS through his first 10 games. If that continues, it may not be long before we see him much closer to Atlanta in Gwinnett.
However, when it comes to Harris, it’s not all about the offense. He is a true five-tool prospect that is capable of playing elite defense in the outfield, and he was rewarded for it last night before his game in Mississippi, receiving a Gold Glove.

I’ve heard some scouts call Harris’ defense the most underrated part of his game, even comparing it to Cristian Pache‘s, who was once known as the best defensive prospect in all of baseball. I’m not sure if it’s that good, but it doesn’t have to be with the way he swings the bat. At some point next year, I expect to see Money Mike in Atlanta.
