According to David O’Brien, Max Fried has potentially come into contact with someone who had COVID-19, which explains why he was scratched from Friday’s start against the Twins — even though he hasn’t tested positive.
Max Fried had "potential exposure" to someone with COVID-19, hasn't tested positive but that's why #Braves aren't starting him Friday. Gonna "lay low" for a couple of days with him, Snitker said.

Brian Snitker said that Fried will “lay low” for a couple of days. The Braves play the Twins, Rays, and Red Sox tomorrow, Saturday, and Sunday. If what Snitker said is to be taken literally, we could see Fried make his Spring Training debut either Sunday against Boston or possibly Tuesday versus the Pirates if the Braves want to be extra cautious.
