The Braves received positive news regarding Max Fried’s ankle after he left last night’s game after just one inning. Brian Snitker said they expect him to be ready to start Game 1 of next week’s Wild Card Series.
Snitker said he expects Fried to be available to start Game 1 of the Wild Card Series.

That should be music to the ears of Braves’ fans. It didn’t look to be anything serious, and the team even said he was removed as a precaution. However, with the way this season has gone regarding injuries, you can never take anything for granted.
With Fried slated to pitch in Game 1, that lines up Ian Anderson for Game 2. Kyle Wright could start a winner-take-all Game 3 (if necessary); however, the Braves might opt to do a bullpen game with their backs against the wall instead.
