The hits keep on coming to Brian Snitker and this Braves coaching staff, as yet another member is departing for greener pastures. Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports is reporting Drew French, the bullpen coach in Atlanta, is heading to Baltimore after receiving a promotion to become the Orioles pitching coach.
The #orioles are hiring Atlanta bullpen coach Drew French as their pitching coach, according to an industry source. French replaces Chris Holt, who maintains his duties as director of pitching.

Attrition among the coaching staffs of successful teams is part of the sport. Earlier in the offseason, Ron Washington was finally offered a managerial position after seven years with the club as the Braves third base coach. He’s now the manager of the Los Angeles, and departing with him was first base coach Eric Young Sr.
With Drew French also moving on, the Braves have several positions to fill. However, nobody should be worried in the slightest. There will be coaches lining up at the door of Brian Snitker for the opportunity to join his staff. The Braves are arguably the best organization in baseball right now, and potential coaches recognize Atlanta as an ideal springboard to bigger opportunities. Every bright mind looking to work their way up the ladder should be eager to join the Braves staff.
