Yesterday, it was announced that the Braves lost their arbitration case with Dansby Swanson. He will earn $10 million this year after the Braves filed at $9.2 million. However, Atlanta did win their arbitration case with Adam Duvall. Duvall filed at $10.275 million and will instead make $9.275 million.
I can confirm what the AP reported:
-Dansby Swanson beat the Braves in arbitration, and will earn $10 million instead of the club's $9.2 million offer
-Adam Duvall lost in arbitration, and will earn the club's $9,275,000 figure instead of the $10,275,000 he sought

As I’ve said several times, when it comes to arbitration hearings, they don’t mean much. The Braves are a file and trial team, so if they can’t agree to a deal, they’ll go to trial without hesitation.
Swanson marks the first arbitration case the Braves have lost this year. Austin Riley and Luke Jackson already lost their cases earlier in the year. Max Fried‘s arbitration hearing will take place in the near future.
