The Braves offense exploded on Wednesday night. At the time of this article, they have 13 runs through seven innings and are well on their way to building a five game cushion in the NL East. However, it wasn’t all good in South Beach. In the third inning, Kyle Wright left the game with an apparent injury.

Wright was sidelined with a shoulder injury to begin the season, and his velocity dipped considerably after the first inning. Hopefully, it’s nothing too serious, but if it is indeed an arm problem, an IL stint is almost assuredly in his future.
Then, three innings later, Michael Harris went down after trying to beat out a throw to first.

That also did not look good, and Harris would leave the game as well. The good news is he was able to walk off the field on his own power, but there’s a strong chance he could also find himself back on the IL after just returning from a back injury.
With a win tonight, the Braves will sit at 21-10, but injuries have terrorized this team early on. Thankfully, they’ve avoided anything serious, and hopefully that’s the case this time as well with Wright and Harris.
As always, we will update you on these injuries as soon as more information is revealed.

Update: The Braves have announced Kyle Wright did leave the game with a right shoulder injury.
Seems like Wright re-aggravated his shoulder. Not good https://t.co/DxZWo9V5b2

That’s bad news, but the update on Harris is much more promising. He was removed from the game as a precaution. It looks like he might be able to avoid an IL stint altogether.Â
