Johan Camargo left tonight’s game after a hard foul ball struck right above his shin protector. It didn’t look like it hit his knee cap, which could have made things a lot worse, but he did hobble off the field in severe pain.
Thankfully, it turns out to be one of those things that is excruciatingly painful right when it happens but is not serious in a long-term sense. The Braves announced that Camargo is back to putting weight on it and is day-to-day with a right shin contusion.

The Braves super-utility man has been fantastic since being demoted to AAA Gwinnett. He hit .483 in 14 games for the Stripers and has continued his success in his return to Atlanta. He has five hits in eleven at-bats, mostly coming in pinch-hit situations.
