If you watched the Braves’ first exhibition game against the Marlins, you would have noticed something different about the broadcast crew. There was no Jeff Francoeur. Per his Twitter account, he has tested positive for the coronavirus. Thankfully, he is asymptomatic, but he will not be broadcasting until he can produce multiple negative test results, just like any other player.
I have tested positive for COVID-19. I am asymptomatic and feel fine, but I will be in self-quarantine until I’m cleared to get back to the broadcast booth with Chip and Tom. In the interim, I’ll be following the Braves on FOX Sports South. Please keep safe and wear a mask.

In his place, Tom Glavine will be helping out with the broadcasts on Fox Sports Southeast. We hope Frenchy can continue to remain asymptomatic and returns to the crew as soon as possible. He is one of the bright young broadcasters in the game and was tasked to call the National League playoffs last year for TBS.
