A Braves legend, Kelsey Wingert, caught up with one of the other budding superstars in the NL East that isn’t on the Braves, Jazz Chisholm Jr., yesterday to ask him some trivial questions about several topics. However, while the interview was light-hearted, it’s fair to take away that Chisholm is very fond of Atlanta… and Ronald Acuña.

Not only did Chisholm say Acuña was his favorite player and the guy with the best swagger in baseball, but he also said his favorite place to play is Atlanta because of the atmosphere at Truist Park. Once again, I have to give credit to Braves fans. They are the best in baseball, and there isn’t a better atmosphere on a nightly basis than Truist Park.
But back to the topic at hand — Chisholm is one of the bright young stars in baseball. He’s already accrued 2.2 WAR for the Marlins, smashing 13 homers to go along with 11 steals. He also has five more years of team control after this one. There’s no way the Marlins would trade him, right?
Probably not; however, Miami recently held a team meeting because everyone on the team doesn’t like Jazz Chisholm. As the Fish continue to lose, things will only worsen, and difficult decisions will have to be made. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Marlins do eventually trade him; unfortunately, moving him within the division is highly unlikely.
But who knows? The Fish have been known to make some boneheaded moves in the past.
