With the non-tender deadline fast approaching, the Braves have reached another deal with one of their non-tender candidates, as they have signed a two-year contract with Orlando Arcia worth $3 million.
Orlando Arcia signs two-year guaranteed Braves deal for $3M with a team option

We will see how the contract is structured, but this is another deal that presumably saves the Braves some money. Arcia was projected to receive around $2.1 million in arbitration, and that number would have only gone up in 2023.
The Braves acquired Arcia via trade from the Brewers at the beginning of last season. He tore the cover off the ball in Gwinnett, but the results did not translate with the big-league club. Arcia hit just .214 with two homers in 70 at-bats for the Braves. Still, he’s a solid option to have off the bench. It wasn’t long ago that the Brewers viewed him as one of the cornerstone pieces to their franchise.
With Arcia getting signed, I would expect this means Johan Camargo will be non-tendered, but we will know that officially in the coming hours.
