Thankfully for the Braves, it looks like two of Atlanta’s best players will be returning from injury sooner rather than later.
Ronald Acuña Jr. will be given at least one more day to rest his sore back.

The team desperately needs Ronald Acuna back, especially with an offense that is already sputtering. Ronald launched two solo home runs in two different 1-0 games if that tells you anything. Next is Max Fried:
Max Fried should be ready to come off the injured list when he is ready next week. So, I'm guessing you'll see Morton and Fried start the first two games (Tuesday and Wednesday) of next week's Mets series in Atlanta.

Fried has had blister problems before, but they haven’t been a big issue in recent memory. Thankfully, it appears he is healing because the Braves will need him badly against the Mets, who still lead the division by four games and are five games ahead of Atlanta.
