The Braves have had no shortage of injuries to begin the season, and they began to rear their ugly head this past weekend against the Astros. Without two of their top relief arms, the bullpen struggled against the high-powered offense from Houston, and the bottom of the lineup has been putrid in the absence of Travis d’Arnaud and Michael Harris II. Thankfully, the latest updates regarding the Braves injuries should provide some hope.
According to Mark Bowman, Collin McHugh will return this week after tossing three innings for Rome last night. Raisel Iglesias could also join him before long, as he was spotted pitching to Michael Harris II in batting practice.

Speaking of Harris, he is set to begin a rehab assignment this week.

Assuming everything feels normal, the Braves should have their star centerfielder back before the end of the week, which couldn’t come at a better time, as they face the division-rival Mets for the first time this season in a few days.
