As if things couldn’t get worse for the Braves, it appears that Ian Anderson may be the next Brave to deal with injury troubles in 2021.
Braves manager Brian Snitker says "there may be something going on" with Ian Anderson's shoulder.

As Snitker said, Anderson will be checked out tomorrow when the All-Star Break begins. After dominating as a rookie, Anderson has arguably been Atlanta’s best pitcher after Mike Soroka went down with an Achilles tear. With Soroka ruled out for 2021, potentially losing him hurts even more. The former third overall pick of the Braves owns a career 3.16 ERA over 24 starts, and the Braves have to be extra cautious that another pitcher on their staff doesn’t develop long-term injury issues, especially in a season as disastrous as this one.
