The Braves lost some incredible men over the past year. Don Sutton, Phil Niekro, and Hank Aaron all passed away, absolutely devastating Braves Country. I know they’re proud up in Heaven watching this team celebrate. As influential as Hank Aaron was on the lives of the players and coaches in this organization, you just have to smile at this stat.
The #Braves won 44 games before the All-Star break, and won 44 games after the break. And they won the World Series in the 44th week of 2021.

As we saw, members of the Braves community and Hank’s family were all in on this Braves run. In the wake of the All Star Game that would have honored Aaron’s legacy being taken away from Atlanta, the moments in the postseason really made up for the loss of the game.
