For a number of reasons, there’s not a team I hate more than the Dodgers. Not only are they the Braves most fierce competition on the field, but their also a pain in the butt during the offseason, where they can flex their muscles with their deep pockets.
It’s become evident that they are going hard after Freddie Freeman in hopes of bringing him home, but he’s not the only Braves free agent they are targeting. According to Hector Gomez, the Dodgers are also looking to add World Series MVP Jorge Soler.
Now that the Nationals have agreed to a deal with Nelson Cruz, the Dodgers are intensifying on pursuit on Jorge Soler, per @mikedeportes.

I’ve said many times this offseason, bring back Freeman and Soler and call it an offseason. With those two guys in the fold, the Braves should be considered World Series favorites. Unfortunately, that’s not looking likely at the moment with the Dodgers involved. The Braves can’t win a bidding war with Los Angeles, but hopefully, they come away with the prized possession (Freeman) at the very least.
