Brain Snitker said after Thursday’s 11-2 loss to the Padres that he expects Josh Donaldson to be back for tomorrow’s series opener against the Marlins.
Josh Donaldson should be good to go for the weekend, Snit said.

Donaldson was pulled before Tuesday’s game with calf tightness. The move, according to the Braves, was strictly precautionary. The Braves’ third baseman reported some soreness, and the team rightfully acted in a manner that ensured there would be no further issue. They flirted with bringing him back for Thursday’s day game against San Diego but thought better of it. Look for his name to be back in the two-hole and at third base as the Braves take on the Fish in Miami.
