The Braves made their fan base very happy again on Wednesday when they announced the signing of Eddie Rosario, who agreed to a two year deal to stay in Atlanta worth $18 million guaranteed. The powerful lefty was a postseason hero for the Braves last season, leading them past the Dodgers on the way to NLCS honors.
Atlanta could have gone a number of different ways to fill out their outfield, but they stuck with Rosario, who made it clear to Alex Anthopoulos from the jump that he wanted to remain with the team.
Alex Anthopoulos said that, throughout his free agency, Eddie Rosario told the Braves they were his first choice.

Having players that genuinely want to be in Atlanta is critical to team chemistry, which has been such a large part to the Braves recent success. These guys love playing with each other, and the results show that over the course of 162 games.
Welcome back, Eddie!
