The Braves have had some issues with their outfield defense as well as getting runs up on the scoreboard so far in 2022, but help is on the way with Ronald Acuña Jr. returning to the lineup tonight. Now, they are getting some more potential reinforcements with Drew Waters close to returning for the Gwinnett Stripers:

I don’t think Waters is ready to play in Atlanta quite yet; he still needs to cut down on the strikeouts and improve his plate discipline a bit. However, he’s certainly close, and the Braves are one injury away from potentially needing his services. Still, Waters needs these reps in Gwinnett, and it’s good news that he’s close to being back.
