The Braves look to be inching closer to getting healthy, as the two lefties in the rotation could return within the week.
#Braves' Drew Smyly will return from the IL and start Saturday against the Diamondbacks. He's been out with forearm inflammation.
Max Fried (hamstring) remains day to day, Snitker said.

Drew Smyly hasn’t had the best start to his Braves career, giving up nine runs, seven of them earned, over 11 innings. He has only made two starts, though, and his WHIP sits at an impressive 0.909. He’s still striking out a lot of batters and keeping his walks low, which will serve him well in the long run.
Max Fried has yet to replicate his 2020 magic, giving up 14 earned runs over 11 innings. His command has been a problem, sporting a 4.1 BB/9 ratio. I think Max will come back to the norm eventually, but he’ll probably miss at least one more start before making a return.
