The season hasn’t even started yet, and I can already tell it will be one for the record books. The Braves and Dodgers rivalry has become one of the best in all of baseball, and a lot of it has to do with them being the two best teams in baseball. They’ve met in the last two National League Championship Series, and they’ve won the last two World Series (even if the Dodgers championship was a bit of a Mickey Mouse title).
Both teams, and rightfully so, believe they should be the favorites to take home the next World Series, but only the Dodgers manager is out here guaranteeing championships. Here’s what Dave Roberts had to say on the Dan Patrick show.
"We are winning the World Series in 2022… We will win the World Series this year, put it on record."

Now, if you listen to the clip, I’m pretty sure Mr. Roberts is drunk. Nothing he said made sense, but either way, I love it. The Braves aren’t the little brother anymore, and they are more loaded than ever. Atlanta should also have a little extra motivation with Freddie Freeman heading to their biggest rival. Let’s get it; I can’t wait.
