Here’s how close Ronald Acuña is to unseating Mookie Betts.

Of course, Ronald Acuña and Mookie Betts are both currently injured, but that doesn’t really matter when it comes to fan voting. With a few extra votes, Acuña will bypass the final voting and be the first member of the National League All-Star team.
Among other position players — Austin Riley, Travis d’Arnaud, and even William Contreras deserve serious consideration. However, nobody on the Braves is more deserving than Dansby Swanson. He’s been the best shortstop in baseball this season and is a legitimate MVP candidate. Not only does he deserve to make his first All-Star game, but he deserves to be the starter. It’s up to us to get him there, so don’t forget to vote! You can do so here.
