The Braves made a roster move earlier today, adding Collin McHugh to the 15-day IL and re-adding Jared Shuster. McHugh is dealing with some shoulder soreness; however, he says the time off is just precautionary.
McHugh said his IL stint is precautionary, that he’s had some shoulder soreness last couple of outings but nothing serious enough to require an MRI, as of now. #Braves bullpen had a lot of depth, but for now is without two key pieces, Iglesias and McHugh.

As O’Brien notes, Raisel Iglesias is also dealing with a similar issue and is on the IL. The Braves will be without two of their best relievers for at least another week. Hopefully, it isn’t much longer than that. The good news is it’s only April, and the Braves have a boatload of arms that can potentially answer the bell when called upon.
