With the MLB Lockout still going strong, Braves fans have become very impatient when it comes to their star first baseman’s free agency. Today, Hall of Famer and Braves Legend Chipper Jones went on Dukes & Bell to talk about Freddie Freeman’s future:
into what Freeman might be thinking:
Chipper believes Freeman is 'a little frustrated' a deal wasn't done with Braves last year during Spring Training. He also believes where Freddie ends up may ultimately come down to where Freeman wants to be geographically.

Chipper also told Dukes & Bell some of the Braves' offers haven't made Freeman smile. And that's opened up some outside conversations.

As many of you know, I’m not in the “inside sources” business, and the Braves keep things pretty close to the vest. However, this aligns with basically everything I have heard from some people I know close to the situation. I’m not sure if the Braves will re-sign Freeman, but it’s clear that both sides aren’t as close to a deal as fans may have thought following the World Series. If they were, it would have been done by now. From what else I have heard, the Braves are going to move quickly following the lockout, with or without Freeman. And it could be something even bigger.
Until labor issues get resolved, we’ll just have to wait and see, but Jones’ comments are very telling considering the situation.
