Michael Harris hasn’t stopped impressing this season, primarily with the bat. He’s hitting a remarkable .299 with four homers and .845 OPS in his first stint of AA ball, which may not last long if he continues playing like this.
But Harris isn’t just known for his offense. He’s a true five-tool talent that can create runs with his speed and prevent runs with his defense. Harris flashed an example of the latter with this unbelievable diving grab last night.

Unfortunately, I don’t get the opportunity to watch Harris every day, but reports suggest that he could already be the best defensive outfielder in the organization. As you can see in the video, his range is incredible, and some have even suggested he’s not that far off from Cristian Pache in that regard. I can’t wait to see Harris in Atlanta, and I don’t think we will have to wait long before he is promoted to Gwinnett.
