In what should be a breath of fresh air for Braves fans, Charlie Morton seems to be getting healthier and is ready to make a push for another World Series title

Charlie Morton has reported to camp. He could be ready for Opening Day, though the Braves must evaluate him to see where he’s at as camp begins. pic.twitter.com/9wuUspRsuj

I think Morton being ready for Opening Day is a stretch, and personally, I wouldn’t rush him. However, if he feels good enough to pitch and wants to, why hold him back? Morton was a crucial piece of Atlanta’s World Series title, and even though he broke his leg, I still have faith in the 38-year-old vet. There’s a reason the Braves locked up Morton before the season ended, and I’m happy to see he’s closer to a return.
