Braves cancel 2025 Fan Fest

MLB: OCT 11 NLDS Phillies at Braves

The Braves haven’t made a lot of fans happy to this point in the offseason, and that continued on Monday, with the club announcing that there will be no Fan Fest in 2025, citing preparation for the All-Star Game and construction around The Battery as reasons for the decision.

“Our annual Braves Fest that we traditionally host in January is one of our favorite events of the year! We always enjoy providing our fans with fun and unique opportunities to meet and engage with Braves players and coaches. After much thought and discussion, we have made the decision to not host Braves Fest for 2025. With construction currently underway at Truist Park and The Battery Atlanta and preparations for the 2025 MLB All-Star Game, we would not be able to host the type of event that our fans deserve and have grown to love. We look forward to welcoming fans back to the ballpark for unforgettable experiences next season, both on and off the field. We hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season and we can’t wait to see you in 2025,” The team’s official account posted to Twitter/X.

Braves Fan Fest is an incredible opportunity for supporters of the team to interact with their favorite players. Nearly 100,000 people participated in the event last year, and the decision to cancel it has been met with an overwhelming amount of negative criticism, as it should. This is a professional organization that makes money hand over fist because of the people that support the team. The least they can do is make these events happen to offer a little something extra for the people who make all of this possible, even if it means working around some complications to do so.
