The Braves got all nostalgic on us Monday afternoon and brought back Braves legend Brian McCann.
Brian McCann is coming home. McCann and the Braves have reached an agreement. Contract specifics have not been revealed.

McCann enjoyed some fine years with the Braves, followed by stints with the Yankees and Astros. Between a big contract, injuries, and decline, Houston opted not to exercise the last year of his deal.
This may not be the sexy catcher many were hoping for, but B-Mac is a fan favorite who still has some pop in his bat compared to most backstops. He figures to offer similar production to that of Kurt Suzuki.
It is still yet to be seen if the Braves are done here on the catcher market and are planning on platooning McCann and Flowers. After all, there are not many options. One thing is for sure, it will be great seeing McCann in a Braves uniform again.
We will provide further details as they are made available.
UPDATE: It is a one-year pact for McCann
