The Braves begin a four-game set in San Francisco against the Giants tonight, but before the series is over, they’ll be welcoming back Michael Harris II.
The former Rookie of the Year will return on Wednesday when he is eligible to come off the 60-day injured list, Brian Snitker confirmed ahead of Monday’s contest.

The Braves have been without Michael Harris since June 14, and they could use his presence in a lineup that hasn’t found much consistency this season. The hope is that Harris’ return will solidify Atlanta’s offense, but he’ll have to hit the ground running.
Thankfully, it seems there’s a good chance of him doing just that. Since beginning his rehab assignment, Harris has ten hits, including a home run, in 23 at-bats for the Stripers, while getting on base at a .500 clip.
Starting on Wednesday night, the Braves will give Jorge Soler an everyday role in right field, Michael Harris in center field, and platoon Jarred Kelenic and Adam Duvall in left field.
